The FDOT held a SR 76 PD&E Study Elected Officials/Agency & Public Kick-Off meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Robert Morgade Public Library. The meeting location is near the project limits and shown below. The general public was invited to attend the public meeting in the evening from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Newsletter was distributed to announce the meeting to nearby landowners and individuals on the project mailing list. The purpose of these meetings was to introduce the PD&E Study to those in attendance and seek initial input for consideration into the study. Display boards and a brief slideshow presentation were shown to discuss existing project characteristics and issues that will serve as input for the team to develop possible improvement alternatives.
