Project Kickoff Newsletter and Kick-Off Meetings: March/April 2009
The kick-off newsletter and kick-off meetings serve to introduce the project and the study to the public and to solicit questions, comments, and suggestions.
Project Alternatives Newsletter and Public Workshop: Early 2010
This newsletter and Alternatives Public Workshop will show the various alternative design concepts for SR 76 and seek public input.
Public Hearing: Early 2011
The Public Hearing is a formal meeting at which comments on the findings of the study, including its proposed alignment and design concept, are entered into the public record.
Location and Design Concept Acceptance: Middle of 2011
Once all comments made in conjunction with the Public Hearing are analyzed and, if appropriate, incorporated into the study, the study documents are completed and forwarded to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for its official Location and Design Concept Acceptance of the recommended alternative.
